“Blank Slate” – Craig Faustus Buck
Craig is a writer of many faces having been a journalist, a nonfiction book author, a writer-producer for network television, a feature film screenwriter, a short-story author and a novelist. Among my six nonfiction books, two were #1 NYT bestsellers. His short film, “Overnight Sensation,” was nominated for an Academy Award.
“Janus” – J.D. Blair
J.D. Bair has developed a 30-year career in journalism and television production as a Writer/Producer and was nominated twice for Emmys. Since 2000 he has been writing plays, short fiction, essays and poetry and has had publishing success in each genre.
“Two Birds, One Stone” – DeAnne DeWitt
DeAnne DeWitt insists it wasn’t her. She wasn’t there. Nobody saw her. There’s no proof. She categorically denies that she publishes under a number of noms de plume in a variety of periodicals. She will admit that she collects books and camels, and knows how to cook in four languages.
“Snowball” – Jared Shipley
Jared Shipley is a writer and an actor. He is a graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City. His serial novel The Laugher, also featuring private detective Marshall Santone, was published in 2013 by JukePop Serials. He lives in Salt Lake City, Utah.
In addition to work by these talented writers
Issue 2 also has an interview with Kevin Allardice, author of “Any Resemblance to Actual Persons.” Kevin sat down with us via Skype to chat about his first novel and some quirky odds & ends, including his brief stint as an indie film actor. In the issue you’ll find the full text transcription of the interview, as well as some audio excerpts to whet your appetite for the upcoming video.
